Thunderbird and html / embed images?
Before the last reconfiguration, I was able to insert images directly into emails I wrote in TB.
After reinstalling, it no longer works. I enabled HTML as the format, but it doesn't work. I have to save the images and send them as an attachment.
What do I need to change so that I can embed them directly again using Ctrl + V?
When inserting -> Graphic -> Embed or not set ticks on image
sounds good, but unfortunately I don’t find any “insert” where I could configure the graphics.
How do you get “insert”?
I’m going from Thunderbird version 128,1 64 bits…
Inserting only goes when a new message is written or an answer is created.
menu bar must be switched on,
Since there is the Insert Point -> Graphic -> Address -> Browse
Now check “hang this picture to message” or check it out…
aeh, then you know that it does NOT work at DIR AUCH. Because it was just the question of how I NOT need to save the file to insert it as html.
I just know it works with me. I always save the image as a file.
I’m sorry.
It used to be easy with strg+v. Now there is an insert, but no way to insert a graphic. I have them out of the clipboard and I want to send them quickly to someone without saving them as a file. It used to be fine. I have reinstalled the new version and possibly overwritten a configuration setting. html is active with me. It should not be.
my version is
115.11.1
I guess there’ll be an option somewhere.
