Basically, it is like learning a language. Clear is clean grammar etc. important and sensible. But it is also important that you can talk a bit and apply the language and not necessarily whether everything is correct or not. Many things – just in math – are introduced at the beginning rather simply and perhaps according to the taste of real mathematicians not formally clean and correct, so that you do not have too many technical terms, formal leads etc., and then it is gradually specified. Clearly, “equality” is now a term that is not the problem. But this is actually also referred to as such relatively early.

This is the case with many things and happens for the simple reason to keep the subject simple first. If one tries to explain all the terms from the beginning, it becomes very complicated and unclear.

naja nice maybe not, but anyway somewhere correct, Contergan is btw the name of the drug that has led to the malformations, not the name of a disease
