The path never ends when you're high?

Have you ever had that feeling when you were high and walking outside, that the path seems so long and takes you a long time? Where does that come from?

Perception is a finely tuned process that requires that you have halfway functioning senses and a halfway functioning brain. If components are disturbed in this system, the perception can also be disturbed or changed. Psychoactive substances can interfere with this system by integrating into brain chemistry, which can lead to various changes in perception. Time perception can also be affected. What exactly happens in the brain is unfortunately not very well researched.

This comes from his own internal attitude, not like to run long distances, which is virtually highlighted by cannabis use.
Cannabis has the capacity to enhance positive and negative sensations.

I'm actually such a guy who always sits down after smoking, chills and if I'm really stoned, my action is just going to be shy because I can somehow run with my eyes which I always find super funny.

If then the effect gets weaker at some point and I get back to move then I notice that I am still being grounded, but can go back to some normal while assessing distances somewhat correctly.

Yes, the drugs are disturbing the perception of the senses and time. You can do that without drugs. Walk 10 km with 30 km of luggage on the back. Then you'll feel springy. Or don't eat salt for three days. After that, everything that only has a bit of salt will taste totally salted.
