The DHCP server cannot be reached?

My PC hasn't been receiving any LAN connections since yesterday. The router and Wi-Fi are working as usual. I then received the error message "The DHCP server cannot be reached." How can I resolve this issue?

In principle, I understood it so that Internet goes(being via wlan).

Well. Now it would be important to know if LAN generally does not go or isn't on a pc?. In addition, do I really assume that this error message appears on Windows? Now also, does this pc wlan already work? Or is there the same mistake?

Well, in principle, there are several reasons for this, but are dependent on whether this error occurs in all media, as well as all terminals, or is only isolated.
Without more precise information, I'll let you know that only your pc with lan does not go.

If this is the case, there may be a problem on PCs.

  1. I would try to restart (think you did but or)
  2. Try resetting the network adapter. This should possibly work the easiest way: Settings -> System -> Problem Treatment postponed. Here you can start a repair from the network adapter.
  3. Also manual would have to go, but if 2. doesn't work completely let it know, then we try it manually, but can also sometimes ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew run in cmd

What I imagine is that the dhcp configuration on your pc is faulty, with manual change if necessary.

However, depending on the location that the dhcp server is incorrectly set at the FRITZ!Box, eg disabled, etc.

Then you have a Lan connection to the repeater, but to the router you have an effective WLAN connection.

Try to restart the repeater (separate 30s from the current)

Have you ever tried whether it works with another cable?

Alternatively, it would be possible that the network connection on your PC or on the router is defective.

What's your router? It would also be possible that the DHCP server no longer runs properly there.
