The company faked my job and now has my data. Should I consult a lawyer?
Hello,
Following on from my last question, I received a written offer from a company. They have my information, but I never received the signed employment contract, and the equipment never arrived either. The start date was supposed to be tomorrow.
Can I take legal action? Firstly, I want to prevent them from using my data for anything, and secondly, I don't want them to get away with it.
You can, but it’s probably just gonna cost you money.
Would you? Did you know he wasn’t?
If you don’t know anything about it, you should make your work available tomorrow.
It’s a home office job, I didn’t get any program or time. And the IT equipment has not come by mail either. no answer to 3 times demand
Maybe you’ll get the contract tomorrow or in the next few days.
I had written mails three times the last two weeks, before it was almost immediately answered… the IT equipment should be put to me, nothing there. I was still hoping for myself until today, I don’t have any information when I have to be online tomorrow, for incorporation etc.
