Hello, I have the following problem with my external filter. It's constantly scratching while it's running. I suspect it's the impeller. What I have to say is that the filter was purchased new, ran for about three months, then was cleaned, and didn't run for about two weeks. Does it need to be run in again now, or should I try a new impeller?

did you take out the Impeller and cleaned it? They are so sensitive (also in assembly) that an unbalance can already happen.
Otherwise, of course, a so-called microfilm of bacteria and “Schmodder” must always form – almost as an “oil” so that the unhearable running smoothness works.
Maybe check the assembly again, especially on the small black “Nöppes” at the bottom of the axle.
