Tetanus?

Hello, I got a tetanus vaccination two days ago, but I haven't had the basic immunization (bootrix-polio vaccination) yet.

My arm has been hurting terribly for two days; it's swollen and reddish. I've also had stomach pain since this morning, but it's more painful here.

All over the left area, but mostly where the arrow points. Aren't these the first symptoms of tetanus?

It can't be toothache because all my teeth were removed and I have implants.

I'm very scared right now.

This is a normal vaccination reaction, which is probably so strong because it was your first vaccination. Stay calm and keep watching this. The painful arm is also completely normal. Don’t try to burden him, it’s gonna go away in a few days.

You can’t get any infection from vaccination with a virus like the tetanus. The vaccine boostrix is a totim pulp that contains nothing that could multiply.

Isn’t that the first symptoms of Tetanus?

The vaccine can’t make you so sick. What you have is headache. If you have it, you should take Paracetamol. Otherwise, buy it.

I’m very scared.

You don’t have to be afraid. It’ll be all over. If you have very severe pain, go to the doctor or call 116117.
