Tentanus through a tattoo?
Hey, about 2-3 hours ago, I got a stick and poke tattoo with a friend. She was experienced with it, but now I'm having a tingling sensation and dizziness. I was vaccinated against it when I was a kid, but I don't know how long ago that was. What can I do now? Should I wait until tomorrow?
Tetanus won't be, especially not so early, but such an action can have all sorts of stupid health consequences. It's a fresh wound, into which you who knows what's in it. Did you at least use tattoo ink or normal ink (which has absolutely nothing to look in the body)?
If it doesn't get better, call 116117, not the emergency call!
Yes we have tattoo ink used it was an amazon set with everything you need, I'm better just that I've been having strong headache since yesterday I don't know if that's too late or if what has to do with the tattoo
Since you have not worked sterile and such sets of quality are usually quite crap, there can be a connection. I don't have to. Since Monday is today, you can go to the doctor normally if it bothers you. Tetanus is extremely unlikely as a cause, but not the only potential risk.
It is certainly not Tetanus because Tetanus no longer exists throughout Europe, but only in some African countries and in India and Pakistan. In addition, the bacteria cannot survive on top surfaces like needles, but only in the ground, and infection is only possible by falling on the ground.
In principle, it would be conceivable that you have stumbled too deeply and hurt nerves. But it's probably just a gamble.
