Werter questioner, I recommend creating a used telescope with a diameter of 12-20 cm with tripod. There are lots of good used, as many significantly reduce the hobby when they realize that only a few stars/planets can be considered sensible. From 7 cm plastic telescopes with plastic lenses I advise you directly, this is inferior material.

It’s very absurd, the Stellarium program from the Linux repository.
This was presented to me at the Regiomontanus Observatory in Nuremberg.

With this you can enter a star/planet name on the computer, zoom, look at well-resolved surfaces, see his data, look at the surrounding moons, change the time scale, hide the star images, swing, star through the earth, see constellations at any time and hide some more (light pollution….).

Attention: If you have control of Stellarium and collect many information, then be aware that with a real telescope you can only make about 2% of it.

You can consider the conditions under which you want to observe, e.g. from a fixed location, regularly and often or only occasionally with a mobile and flexible device.

You can consider whether you have direct visual observation or whether you want to take pictures with the appropriate technical support of a camera.

So you’re considering how much time and money you can invest.
