Telegram Secret Chat was accepted but online status not updated?

I've already noticed the following with two people on Telegram. The online status is enabled for both me and my two contacts, meaning it's not hidden. For example, my friend's online status says "last seen on April 6, 6:22 PM."

Although the person's status indicated that they weren't online, the secret chat was accepted today, April 10th (within 1 hour of the chat opening). That means the person must have been online? Is this a bug, or how could this be?

I don't know if the person was in there and accepted. If then the most unconscious gets on because it was open in the background or something..

Maybe I'll find out.
