Numbness and tingling in the body several times a day. What is this?
Hello.
Every single day, I have this numbness and tingling in my hands and fingers, and they fall asleep several times a day. It doesn't matter if I'm lying down, sitting, or anything else. I hold my hands perfectly normally. Sometimes I feel this tingling somewhere else. Often my shoulder or arms.
Should I go to the doctor? I've been having this regularly for months. I don't know what's wrong, but it's not normal, is it? I often feel this electric sensation in my hands, if you know what I mean. It's incredibly unpleasant. It doesn't last long at all, but it usually happens several times a day. I also have cold hands quite often, and sometimes even feet, which is why many people ask me why I have this.
I’ll advise you to find a neurologist. There are several reasons for this, e.g. a problem in the area of the cervical spine or cervical spine, which can radiate into the hands and shoulders. I had a similar problem many years ago, only that it radiated in pelvis and legs, similar to short power surges, and also back pain. The cause was a neurinoma in the cervical bone, i.e. the part of the vertebral column under the lumbar vertebral region.
You should go to the doctor.
Cold hands and feet can come from your underweight.
