Pigeons have laid an egg on the balcony, what should I do?
Hello, my dears 🙂
It must have happened on my quiet child-free weekend that a pair of pigeons built a nest and laid an egg.
I just noticed it yesterday and don't know what to do???
My children are back, and they're so loud that the mother pigeon doesn't dare go near her egg. She sits on the railing and waits until it calms down… But of course, that only happens in the evenings…
What is the best thing for me to do?
I have bicycles on the balcony that I regularly bring in and out, as well as my clothes rack. Will the pigeons go along with this, or will they just leave it alone out of stress?
I would like to give them the opportunity to hatch the egg and wait until the baby pigeon flies away, but unfortunately, we disturb them. The egg will therefore remain unhatched for a longer period of time.
Help! I don't know what to do anymore. I think every living creature deserves protection, but somehow the stress the pigeons are currently exposed to is extreme…
I live in a high-rise building in a big city, so I can't really "place" the nest somewhere further away…
Anyone experienced something similar?
Best regards
There are thousands of city pigeons, rats of the air, you really don’t have to have on the balcony.
Well, pigeons also have a right to live. Let them go to their nest, either they do it with or they leave their egg completely.
