Task manager filled?
Hi,
I don't have the best, most powerful PC, but it works. In Task Manager, "Windows Host Process (Rundll32)" is running, but over time, it keeps getting more and more… When I boot up, I have about 80 background activities, but after 15 minutes, it's already 150… All of them are the same…
I had my PC on for a while earlier because of several updates, and after hours I had over 2100 background activities… This is worrying me a little, is there any solution?

What operating system are you in? The rundll32.exe runs exactly once in a normal system. The svchost.exe appears several times in Windows Task Manager because it was simply started with different parameters. Here, for example, 92 entries, a part of them you see here:
Start Windows again and then download malwarebytes and scan your system: https://de.malwarebytes.com/ Let’s see if there’s any malware responsible for it with you.
Thank you.
I just found this at “Autostart” and can disable it. Shall I do it?
Yeah. What is the operating system? Did you let malwarebytes scan your system?
Here you can assume that you are running various other programs on Windows Start with and more background processes.
My PC is well tied up and running with Firefox and Chrome, running with me only 106 background processes and 8 apps.
But as I said, my system is clean.
So I don’t have to start a variety of programs and useless programs with high, of course I start them manually if I need them.
Look at the Task Manager in Autostart, otherwise I would say that there are simply programs that open programs because they need them and so on
Yesterday I disabled everything weird…
Also in the task planning
Hi, by case you have a malware please immediately change all passwords but on the phone and not on the PC
oh je.. but have never downloaded anything funny…
How can I be sure it’s not a malware? Moreover, this has been for many months, hackers could have attacked
that really doesn’t sound normal, the most absurd would be with such a correct new installation, no reset
there can be too much debt
