Taschenlampe, Kamera, Powerbank, Ersatzakkus bei Handgepäck, wie viel erlaubt und möglich mitzunehmen?
Hallo an alle. Die kommenden Fragen beschäftigen mich jetzt schon eine Zeit lang, da ich in ca. 1 Woche nach Australien über Dubai mit Emirates fliegen werde für 1 Jahr Work&Travel.
Zum einen habe ich 7 KG Handgepäck frei. Da ich aber meinen Laptop, meine Kameras + ersatzakku, meine Powerbank und sonstige für mich wichtige Sachen im Handgepäck mitnehme übertrifft das ganz schnell die 7 KG. Um dies zu vermeiden dachte ich mir, ich nehme meine Spiegelreflexkamera einfach um den hals. Ist das möglich? Oder wird die Kamera zum Handgepäck-gewicht dazugerechnet?
Zum anderen handelt es sich um die Akkus: Laptop und Handy kann ich ja ohne weiteres mitnehmen. Jetzt möchte ich aber eine Taschenlampe mitnehmen die hat eine Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery mit 5000 mAh 3.7V und 18.5Wh die Batterie muss ich höchstwahrscheinlich separat in mein Handgepäck packen. Dazu kommen aber noch meine 2 Powerbank mit Li-Polymer 20000mAh/72Wh und Li-Polymer 12000mAh und die Akkus von meinen Kameras 3x1025mAh/7.4Wh und 2x 1800mAh (Li-ion). Mittlerweile gibt es fast nur noch diese Akkus wenn man ein eigenermaßen gutes Gerät mitführen will 🙁 und des hört sich jetzt alles viel an aber im Endeffekt sind es nur 1x Taschenlampe, 1x kleine Kamera mit 2 ersatzakkus, 1x Spiegelreflexkamera mit 1 ersatzakku und 2x Powerbank.
Bekomme ich da Probleme bei der Handgepäck Kontrolle? Gibt es sollte es ein Problem sein irgendwelche Alternativen? Kann mir dazu auch wer was aus Erfahrung sagen? Vielleicht selbst miterlebt?
Über schnelle Antworten würde ich mich riesig freuen da es, wie oben geschrieben, in 1 woche schon los geht.

Neither Emirates, nor other companies want to check in photo equipment. Well, because of the weight, you shouldn’t have any problems.
As far as the batteries are concerned – you can take several batteries in the hand luggage, if they remain below 100Wh (per battery, not total). You can also take up to two batteries with 101-160Wh.
And please don’t drill holes in the housing…
I wouldn’t dare to store a Li-ion battery in the hand baggage, for that the things are far too susceptible to errors due to possible gasification or even fire development.
There’s no way in the plane to throw that thing away when it’s gassing or torching.

The MUST in the hand baggage can be done at least in contrast if they are in the cargo hold.
In the cargo hold anyway. If it must be absolutely necessary, I would drill a small hole into the casing when the battery systems are closed so that the battery in the casing cannot build up any pressure and it can only evaporate, but cannot explode and thus the pressure through the opening can escape if necessary.
In addition to the 7kg baggage, you can also take a photo backpack, at least I know this from most large airlines.
Apart from that, I don’t think it’s weighed in Emirates, I’ve got my hand baggage weighed once in my life and over 100 flights.
Because of batteries I have never had problems, and my hand luggage is always stuffed with power banks, chargers etc.
I read something again, Emirates seems to be quite strict in the hand luggage regulations. So do not rely on my statement with the photo backpack;-)

At Emirates, as far as I have been informed, an additional laptop bag, a gym bag or similar is only approved at the business class.
The Hsndgeböck is illuminated anyway as long as you do not exceed the viewing limit, there is no problem with these parts you want to take with you
