Change your tariff with 1&1 even though the last bill has not been paid?

I have a question: I had to return my cell phone bill this month for financial reasons. I've had the phone for over 24 months and would now like to change my plan. Is that even possible if the September bill for the current contract is still outstanding?

Usually the contract is extended by 12 months if it has not been terminated in time. You can only change tariffs after the end of the contract. At 1und1 it is customary that early contractual changes are only possible with a sum of redeem (often up to 100 euros). If, however, the remaining contract period is only a few months and the termination would soon be possible, then no change fee is also offered. But then of course with new 12 or 24 months contract term.

Everything is displayed quite transparently on the customer’s side. If you don’t pay the higher prices…

Excerpt from my contract:

This is a marker in the schedule and next year in September what there are new tariffs. Usually give more GB at the same price ..

The most unfavorable are the fare with mobile phone when you forget to quit the run further to the tariff in which the phone included was calculated on 24 months.

Well, 1und1 will rightly insist on your fulfillment of the contract. So pay fast.

If and when you can change the fare, you should get out of your contract documents.
