Tariff zone change?

So I come from Dresden and the public transport there is from the DVB, now I want to go towards Freital with a VVO line (which still starts in Dresden!) until just before Freital.

Does anyone happen to know if I can still travel on the VVO line with my monthly ticket, which is valid for the Dresden fare zone?

Up to the Dresden-Plauen stop, the card applies to the TZ Dresden, for everything else you need a connection ticket or a new ticket for the TZ Freital.

Within the TZ Dresden, your monthly ticket applies in everything that drives there (street, city bus, regional bus, S-Bahn, RB, RE, Elbfähren..), you cannot use IC, ICE.

For the TZ Freital you only need to pay one additional zone (one section of the four-card or one zone), that is not 2 zones that normally cost a ticket from Dresden to Freital. It is also possible to devalue when you arrive in Dresden and then extend the validity period to 2 zones.
