Do what you like.

If you like ballet, then there’s nothing against trying it out.

Advantages: posture training, foot health, build-up of force, flexibility and quick/slip force.

Depending on what you do for a sport, it complements or supports itself.

Fighting sports such as karate, kickboxes or capoeira complement each other with ballet

In football, tennis and co it helps to avoid injuries (keyword feet and mobility)

If you like other dances, try out other dances. The selection is great, besides those mentioned by Congratulations49 you still have Rock n Roll, Hiphop, Lindy Hop, Irish Dance, Contemporary and X others.
