Tank pad for new motorcycle?

Hey, I have a new Aprilia RS4 125 and I'm wondering if it makes sense to get a tank pad… I'm not sure because I think it looks nicer when I don't have anything on the tank, but I also don't know if it's as bad as people say, that I'll scratch the paint.

A tank pad makes sense when you need one. Say: if there is a danger of scratching the tank.

And with the color and the flat handlebar, I don’t see how you couldn’t need one.

ui… matte tank.

definitely pad on!

when you drive in a jacket (and you should do that yourself in the summer!!!) inevitably get scratched. in half a year, the tank looks like you dragged him behind you.

you don’t have to buy such a colorful child’s jacket. there are also just black pads or even quite transparent

not to thank.

รผrbigens: buy this “sticker” from thin plastic. they also protect against scratches, but they can’t be removed without riots afterwards and you’ve also ruined the tank!

15-20 โ‚ฌ may cost such a good pad. louis or polo will gladly advise you.

take such a thick gel pad. you can also take off after 3 years without seeing something of it

… transparent. Good to mention it.

I’ve seen one at nem buddy, that was pretty thick and soft, made of clear silicone.

If visually hardly noticed, somehow felt nice and apparently the tank was very well protected.

and if you have one from the previous owner on it?

What I recommend: real carbon. It is also matt and therefore fits your companion. Example of my GSF 1200:

Supplier: http://www.chao-parts.de/

I also had on my squeaky XJ 600 (color experiment from the first owner ๐Ÿ˜‰ :

Two years without problems. I sold the XJ with Pad, no releases.

Depends on whether you mean by the side or at the front of the tank. What I can say with tank pads on the sides makes it much more pleasant than you have more, “Building” to the car
