Tampons in hand luggage on the plane?
Hello
I know the question is a bit strange but I need to know 🙂
So: we are flying away soon for 4 days and can only take 10 kg of hand luggage with us.
But since I get my period right around that time, I obviously have to take tampons with me.
I've already filled a small toiletry bag with tampons, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to take them with me because they have a metal zipper and aren't transparent!
It would be really embarrassing if I had to put them in a box like that and then open my toiletry bag.
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance!
Only liquid has to be placed in a transparent bag in the hand luggage – ie shampoos, deodorant, toothpaste, makeup, nail varnish and co. (Take care of the maximum amount of liquids!)
Tampons don't actually. But with a cultural bag that is not transparent, you could be promptly asked to open it to find any pointed items, such as nail files or the like.
My tip: Take a small bag of fabric in which you put the tampons, or reserve a small compartment in your pocket where you can ride your tampons. So that it is separate from the rest of the toilet articles.
In addition, as long as you do not necessarily flee to Asia or to the end of the world, you will also be able to buy tampons at any time;)
Almost every third woman takes tampons on flight trips as they are made of cotton, there is no reason to worry at all.
The bag is illuminated mostly in three phases> explosives, metal objects and others….. materials.
Tamposn appear at most as outlines.
If you don't take the vibrator, there should be no problems!
Isn't that bad… people in control see this every day
It's just tampons.
They'll have to see other things…
You can take tampons.
You don't have to put them in a box publicly. You can stay in your pocket. Nobody sees them.
If you knew how many women have tampons in your hand luggage, you'd get that question out of your mind…
Besides, no one is interested in your tampons. Your bag is lit. Whether the cultural bag is transparent or not, it doesn't matter. In doubt, you only have to open them when dangerous objects are to be seen. Speak nail file, scissors etc. If you leave something at home, no one is interested in your cultural bag 😀
You are certainly the first woman to travel with tampons throughout the history of aviation. *facepalm*
