I want to calculate 40% of 254, I have a percent symbol in my calculator, but when I hold down the Shift key on the percent symbol, the calculator still displays a percent, but instead of subtracting 40%, only 0.4. If I enter 254 – 0.4, the correct result isn't displayed. What should I enter?
