Runway markings?
What do the (first 6, then two wide, then 4, then another 4, then 2 and another 2) lines in the touchdown zone right and left of the centerline on a runway mean?

Are military aircraft allowed to take off and land at passenger airports and vice versa? Is this strictly separated or is take-off/landing at the other airport only permitted in emergencies?
This plane flies the same route quite often at midnight. It's always visible in the sky whenever it takes off. It seems to me that this propeller plane is flying out of boredom. Unlike other planes, it flies low, sometimes higher, sometimes lower, and it flies fast. What is its job? This plane kind of…
Which do you prefer? Airbus or Boeing. I like Airbus.
Hi, I have a question: could I theoretically and practically build an airport for around 5.5 million euros?
We want to have the runway at a local airport extended so that we can A) Have lower costs B) Not having to drive so far The runway is currently 1,200 meters long, and the jet needs 1,800 meters to take off. We think 2,000 meters is okay. We'll also add a hangar. Unfortunately, there…
So the upper or lower one or can't you say that in general?
How many minutes before landing can one speak of descent, i.e. from when do the pilots initiate the descent?
The planes could taxi down the runway and then start their engines shortly before the end of the runway to take off. The braking distance during landing would also be shorter because the plane would have to taxi uphill. This would save kerosene and the environment would also be happy.
I'm interested in how much it costs to build a 3.5 km long landing or takeoff runway for jumbo jets. Some airport projects are mentioned on the internet as costing billions, but I can't quite fathom the cost. The cost of concrete or asphalt alone is unlikely to generate such costs, right?
