Which upper body exercises should be done if a rotator cuff injury is suspected?

I went to the sports and joint clinic yesterday. Apparently, I injured myself during training. After several tests, a rotator cuff tear is suspected, and the physiotherapy prescription also states biceps tendinitis with instability. Now I have to take a break from playing tennis for now. I injured my shoulder while training three weeks ago, and when I woke up the next day, my front shoulder was in extreme pain. It's a stabbing pain, and it still hasn't gone away. Could it be that the tendon is torn or ruptured? And which doctor should I see now? My family doctor?
