Mesomeric chloric acid?
I am unsure whether chloric acid HClO3 has mesomeric boundary structures, since these would have charges and this is energetically unfavorable.

Below you can see two ways to write chlorine in electronic notation. Are both correct, or is only one correct? Greetings
I don't understand. Yes, I know you have to follow the octet rule, and I understand the principle, but there are different ways to align them. How do you know that? For example, nitrogen dioxide, sulfuric oxygen, or phosgene? How do you figure that out? Thank you in advance Kind regards
Hello everyone, I'm writing a chemistry test tomorrow and I don't really understand much of it right now. I would appreciate it if you could explain the following topics to me as simply as possible: Nuclides, atomic charge and mass number all metals (i.e. the structure and formability) how does electron division occur the octet…
Hello, I'm currently studying for a chemistry exam and I don't understand the octet rule. Can someone explain to me what it is used for and then the definition? I'll write to you on Friday and would appreciate a quick reply. Best regards
Hey! Can someone explain the octet rule as simply as possible?😅 Ideally at a ninth-grade level, as the online explanations are too complicated for me🙈 Best regards, ~Julica
Hello, I have a question: What is the octet rule in chemistry again? And then I'm supposed to give an example.
The chemical bond types are simple A) Si- must be covalent Csf-ionic Ne- stable (I would put it this way) Cu-metallic …bond. B)I usually know such diagrams with the energy level occupancy and not as a charge density distribution of the valence electrons. Question 1: Is the charge density distribution higher at c than at…
Good evening Is the Lewis formula used correctly based on the octet rule? I look forward to your answers.
