Was the Carnotaurus likely to be more active during the day or night?
Very large theropods such as Tyrannosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus were probably diurnal, while smaller theropods such as Velociraptor and other dromesaurids were probably mostly nocturnal. But what was the Carnotaurus like as a medium-sized predatory dinosaur? Which is more likely: nocturnal, diurnal, or a mixture of both? And if you know what you're basing your assumptions…
