Does it make a difference in performance if the shock is horizontal in the frame or just normally at the bottom of the frame?
From hardtail to downhill?
I currently have a hardtail mountain bike with relatively good components, but I'd like to switch to a downhill bike. Is it possible or sensible to simply get a downhill frame and then put basically everything from the hardtail on it?
Which bike should I get?
