Mimicry or mimesis? Dwarf perch?
Hello everyone, I read that the dwarf bass can take on the color of its prey in order to sneak up on it unnoticed. Does this fall under mimicry or mimesis? Thanks in advance ☺
What is the difference between somatolysis and mimesis?
In biology we are currently studying camouflage in nature. Now we've been given a sheet that says something about somatolysis, mimesis, and mimicry. But I don't see any difference between somatolysis and mimesis. Thank you in advance for the help in distinguishing the two types. Best regards
