Is the Chinese for German book good?

Is the book "Chinese for Germans" good for learning Mandarin? Found here: https://www.amazon.de/product-reviews/3875483847/ref=cm_cr_unknown?filterByStar=one_star&pageNumber=1 The main argument is that there are Anki decks for it and I use Anki intensively for learning languages. It would be great if someone actually learned from this book. Perhaps they took a university course with it? Thank you
