Why is there no cheese from Wisconsin available in Germany?

Wisconsin is known throughout the US for its delicious cheese. Unfortunately, I've only seen cheese from European countries in German supermarkets. Is it because Germans only associate American cheese with processed cheese, like the kind used in burgers? Or would transporting it over such a long distance simply be too expensive?

I can hardly describe it, these metal boxes on wheels? Well, I can't find anything that has "car" in the name anyway. . It would be great if someone had a name for it so I could find companies or models that I could buy!
