engine preheater

Hi, I bought an engine heater from DEFA. I have a 2000 Audi A3 8L. 1.6 liter engine, engine code: AVU. Does anyone know where to install the preheater on the engine? I have no idea, as the manual doesn't really help me. Maybe someone has already installed this DEFA preheater on the same engine…
