Hey, I'm a 16-year-old male and I'm currently 173 cm tall, but my mother said that when I was born, the doctors measured my bone density and said I would be taller than my father, and he is 182 cm. Unfortunately, I have doubts now. Can someone enlighten me?
I'm supposed to take collagen because my bone density isn't that good. Do I have to take a specific powder, or can I also eat protein bars that contain collagen? Are they both the same, or are there differences as to which collagen it has to be? Thanks for your answers 🙂
I'm 25 now and had a bone density test done purely out of curiosity. My T-score was -1. That's not particularly good, but it's still within the normal range. The doctor said everything was perfect?! How can that be? A value of 0 would be optimal, right?

If you suffer from a moderate form of osteoporosis, is it advisable to resort to medication straight away, or can (and should) you try alternatives (e.g. changing your diet) because the medication may help your bones but could harm your body in general? What experiences have you had with osteoporosis?
