I'd like to graft one of my apple and cherry trees, but I don't know whether I should use a vigorous or weak rootstock for optimal results. It's important to me that the trees grow very large, live long lives, and are frost-resistant. For the cherry, I can use either Alkavo, Colt, or GiSelA 5.
