Best Movie/Book Antagonist?
For me it's either Anton Chigurh (No Country For Old Men) <- Absolute recommendation, The Joker (The Dark Knight) or Darth Vader, although I can't really say that he's an antagonist through and through.

I definitely thought Santino D'Antonio was best played by Riccardo Scamarcio; he has a bit of a mafioso quality to him. Of all the antagonists, he came across best. What do you think? I didn't like the judge in part 3 as much. The precursor in part 4 was better.
Which fate of antagonists in Disney films did you find the worst?
Mine is the one from the Harley Quinn show
Is it just me that I've often been a fan of the villains in movies? 😅 I really liked Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty and Cruella in 101 Dalmatians was cool even though I knew she was going to do bad things 🙃 I'm curious to hear what you have to say 🙂
Who are your favorites from the dark side, not the villains, but their sidekicks? The Dr. Watsons and Robins of the criminal world (preferably not from the MCU/DC genre). My personal anti-favorite is Thomas Eichhorst from The Strain.
I think Gaston is the worst because he only wants to win Belle over because of her looks and make her his "good wife." Otherwise, he's pretty self-absorbed and doesn't even listen to Belle. On the other hand, Hans would have let Anna die, Ursula would have transformed herself for the wedding, etc. Which relationship…
I'm currently writing a story and have an idea for the antagonist's backstory, but it's quite tragic, which might make the reader feel sympathy for him. However, I'm not sure if that might undermine the antagonist's authenticity.
Hey, I'm currently writing a story in which the protagonist has to prevent the end of the world, while the antagonist tries to stop him from doing so. Unfortunately, I can't think of a reason why the antagonist wants the end of the world. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
The task for my biology PL is: Explain the term "agonist" in a neurobiological context using nicotine and acetylcholine as examples. Assess the significance of the respective molecular structure. I've completed the neurobiological part, but I don't understand which molecular structure I'm supposed to assess. My first idea was to explain that nicotine is a…
Hello everyone! Agonist: Substance that binds to a receptor and triggers an effect. Antagonist: Blocks receptor partially or completely. Now my question: There are some medications that are considered serotonin antagonists. This means they block certain serotonin receptors. How can this medication trigger feelings of euphoria and happiness, even though the receptor is blocked, meaning…
Hello, I'm writing a book where there is a female antagonist who is manipulative and eventually "brings" the main character to death. But I'm still not sure what would make a good antagonist, she shouldn't just be manipulative.
