Do tablets upset your stomach?

Good morning,

I have been taking Escitalopram 5mg and Pantropazole 20mg in the morning for four days.

Since then, my stomach has felt like a construction site. Bloating, brief bouts of nausea, and sometimes the feeling as if I've been punched in the stomach.

As a side note, I even take Escitalopram for my stomach (since I have trouble dealing with stress, I was prescribed the tablets).

The doctor in charge explained to me that you have to get used to the tablets for the first one to two weeks.

Has anyone tried taking the tablets in combination? What can I do to improve tolerability?

Ask your doctor if he can additionally prescribe this.

Otherwise the usual.. Have a lot of food and drink. Never consume on sober stomach tablets. Your stomach wall is very sensitive.

I just read the package leaflet from boredom.

I can only advise you: Avoid medicines as well.

I’ve ever been prescribed for Ibu, and I don’t (always) agree. I immediately addressed this to the doctor and then he prescribed the pantroprazole.

But they are not intended as a continuous application.

Escitalopram is an antidepressant from the SSRI group.

Your doctor will hopefully know what he does, because only with some stress and a stomach that is susceptible to this will not be prescribed.
