Is there a MOT issue with a defective rear window wiper? We removed the fuse that prevented it from rotating because it couldn't turn off. But we don't need it and don't want to repair it.

The rear wiper isn't important. If it doesn't work during the MOT, you'll still get the sticker. If it has a bad day, you'll get a notice saying it's not working. But that's it. You can also remove it completely and put a chrome plug over the hole. But if you leave the motor in there, the arm will have to stay attached as well. Risk of injury.

Depends on the inspector and whether they want to find something… I would repair it and perhaps ask the car scrapyard for a little money… whether you need it or not, without the right exterior mirror the part is mandatory as part of the vehicle's type approval and even with an exterior mirror it's a problem because some inspectors see it the same way as I do as an EM.

Wenn er nicht mehr dran ist, wird er auch nicht geprüft. Den abzubauen muss aber eine dauerhafte Lösung sein, also das entstehende Loch muss sauber geschlossen werden.
dann bau ihn aus und mach das loch wasserdicht zu.bei 2 außenspiegeln muss man keinen haben.mit dem unterschied wenn was am auto ist muss es gehn,ausnahme wäre der radio da ist es egal

ein nicht funktionierender Heckscheibenwischer ist schon ein Problem. Wenn der Heckschreibenwischer allerdings nicht vorhanden ist, ist es kein Problem mehr.
Daher: abmachen und wasserdicht versiegeln. Feddig!
