System is using the SSD for a very long time?

Hello.

For some time now, I've been having a problem where my PC is slowing down significantly because the SSD is at full capacity. The culprit is what's listed as "System" in the Resource Monitor. This always happens after the PC boots up, but also often in between. And for a long time. I can't imagine it's normal for the system to completely utilize an SSD for over half an hour.

My SSD is the Emtec X150 480GB | I'm using Windows 11, but I had the same problem with Windows 10. According to the system settings, it's always up to date, so it doesn't seem to be doing any updates at the moment.

Do I have a slow SSD or is there something wrong with the system?
