Switch relays differently?

How can I wire time relays so that they always operate in opposite directions, and for an infinite time? RT1 should be activated for 5 seconds, then RT2 for 5 seconds, and this repeats indefinitely.

I want to build a traffic light where two traffic lights always switch staggered.

Does anyone have a circuit diagram?

I'd suggest that. A switch-on, a switch-off delay.

The easiest thing would be a flash relay… 😉

Sura.

But what I recommend in any case is to make you realize the mode of operation step by step, so that you also know how exactly the circuit works. Best even in writing in short notes, for example:

  1. Basic position: -S1 does not act, therefore -K1 and -K2 are not drawn, therefore -P1 and -P2.
  2. -S1 is activated. -K2 is not actuated, so -K1 receives voltage and time t(-K1) runs off. -K1 and -K2 not dressed. -P1 lights red, -P2 out.
  3. Time t(-K1) expires, -K1 begins. (and so on, detailed and small)

If you want, you can also write this function description as a comment under my answer, then I'll look again.

Because it doesn't matter if you have to ask others about how to do something. This is an even relatively simple plan that you can design yourself with some basic knowledge.

It got bigger than I thought. But as long as it works… 🤗👍
