With me, it's something and that has been for years (which often comes with saving money).

I get clothes first of all second hand from my mother or aunt. I do extremely rarely buy something new (once new socks or underwear but this is rare, just like shoes).

Mobility: my car is only used if it is not different. Talk to work (because I need a good 4 hours by bus every day for there + back instead of only 45min by car) and if I drive to the farmer's market (because there is no bus there) what I can do with my parents directly. For normal shopping, I take the bike or walk.

During the diet I care to buy vegetables/autumn especially here from the region and after season (thus 1x a week goes to the peasant market). Otherwise I feed vegan and make a lot of myself + just keep on using everything in my kitchen what is there (which also saves garbage) and goes.

Energy: I only have the power that must be connected to the power (refrigerator, freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave (the latter two are more because I don't get to the plugs to pull in the kitchen)). Everything else (laptop, TV, washing machine, etc) I took off the power when I don't need it right now. I often heat water in the kettle. Needs less electricity than if I would hunt this over my heater to rinse (yes I also rinse partly by hand although I have a dishwasher)

Water: runs here only if it has to be. For soaping during showering it is turned off and is only then turned up again to rinse. To do this, I collect the cold water which comes first out of the line in a bucket and use it for cleaning or cooking……

Consumption: I've only been buying what I need for years. Doesn't it mean something new is bought when the old one is broken. I don't need a new phone every year, not constantly new clothes, etc. I buy a lot of second hand, though. The only thing that I have to do is to offer super good foods every time, but this also works very well (because my place is limited or something. I have not yet converted the large cellar space as a warehouse and therefore only a small storage chamber as a storage space.

And finally garbage: I buy vegetables almost only unpacked (which is the good at the farmer market). Try to save plastic as well as buy a lot directly in large packages that I then refill at home in jars (eg lenses, chickpeas, rice, etc.). I then use the plastic bags as a garbage bag (for the cosmetic bucket in the bathroom or to dispose of the vegetable residues I cannot process (unfortunately have no biobin or a composter where I could dispose of it in it, which would be better to me honestly).

that includes clothing and energy.

I don't necessarily need new things, just because everyone has something like that etc.

I also don't have to make shopping trips to new york or go to mall. I can also drink at home 🙂

My focus on sustainability lies (unconsciously) on clothing, but for years already. I only buy high-quality products that are long-lasting and solid, but also wear used clothes if they fit me and I like, the condition is good and it does not look like vintage or flea market.

In general, my life takes place on a relatively simple standard. I could afford more, but I just don't want to (and my old Mercedes will NEVER produce as many pollutants as the production of a new car or the battery to be disposed of an electric car) – and we also do not want to buy food locally from the farmer or craftsman/butcher etc. and education … is always sustainable 🙂

Consumption, because this involves extra education in each of these areas.
I'm more than happy about a lesser thing: is that really necessary? Because it is an illusion, only by a little more efficiency (which in many places already pushes its limits) or technology is easy to continue. In addition, there is the rebound effect that destroys many efficiency gains or even overcompensates.

I would like to pay more attention to sustainability, not to a certain proportion of it, I respect less consumption in the sense of less meat, save fuel, gas, electricity, less water, less clothing and generally junk that you do not need 😉

Especially plastic and waste in the garden, an ever worse problem.

I solved the rest of the issues. Buy classic organic dresses, leather or genuine rubber shoes and untreated wooden furniture. Only second hand.

Eating from the garden, at 80% present.

Heating (and cooking) to 60% with wood in the region.
