Survey- Do you expect a Wi-Fi connection from a hotel?
Hello,
I would like to know whether you would generally expect a Wi-Fi connection from a hotel or not?
PS: Please no troll or joke posts!

Hi, I got a Repeater 1750e. You're supposed to plug the repeater into the power supply and wait until the power and Wi-Fi LEDs are lit continuously, and then start the WPS connection. However, the Wi-Fi LED won't stop flashing. And that prevents me from connecting. I've tried a lot of things, including resetting the…
Hi, attached below is a picture of my FRITZ!Box Wi-Fi extender. It's connected to my PC, but there's no internet connection; the Wi-Fi bars aren't displayed. Now I have no internet on my PC. Does anyone know how to turn the extender back on? Thanks.
Hey. I haven't had internet for about an hour, but I'm connected to Wi-Fi. What can I do? Thanks in advance!
When I want to play something on my PC (PC is connected with LAN cable), I get an error message login failed but the internet websites such as YouTube, Netflix etc. work without problems Here is another example of the Battle net launcher In download I have 550mbit/s and in upload I have 60mbit/s and…
Hello, my internet hasn't been working for a few hours. My router, the Speedport Smart 3, lights up orange for service, while all other areas are lit white. Since I have read online many times that the service orange light flashes, I would like to say again that it does not flash but stays lit…
Hello, which part of London would you recommend for a 3-day stay (hotel)? And do you think 3 days are enough for a trip or should you plan a few more days?
Fast internet for working or streaming should be standard today.
Yeah, outside of Germany, it’s like a candy on the pillow. In D-Land, this is often ned, perhaps also because of unexistent links in rural areas.
I would also dispense with free-wifi as an operator when I give the complaints every day because it is ned when the hotel is full.
Hello,
I wouldn’t expect it, but I would be happy! However, no WLAN for me would not be an exclusion criterion!
I don’t need (as only holidaymakers) either. I get all the necessary information at the reception.
I’m a bit disappointed that the community expert for WLAN and router will get his information at the reception:D
What if I’m answering you, I have a mobile flat? Then I don’t need a wlan. …
I have the suspicion that many people don’t know. Wlan is just a data transmission variant. If you only use it to make large downloads with the mobile network depending on the data rate. Not because it goes faster, but because not flat rates are put down when the file size is exceeded and then slow download. (Hat our grandman so explained to me, but he has a real flat.)
The map can also be viewed in the pure mobile network. No MB.
But now the hammer comes, hold on.
I have an old Samsung folding handy on prepaid, which tells me something from Open Source when I press the wrong button. It’s nice to break. That’s a long way to give me help when I’m on my own, once again completely down over the biggest crossroads of the city. (A staple epilepsy attack.)
But I’m never on my way on holiday alone.
A good restaurant doesn’t tell me the Internet. Locals already
Sorry, I usually use only the keyboards ^^
I always prefer the recommendations of local residents to the Internet reviews.
Then there was no Smiley. vulnerability
My comment was not so serious 😀
Hi There are many reasons why a hotel internet should have for example to make calls or for people who are on business trip
I’m not big at the hotel. If only to sleep.
Only if I’m on my way professionally.
Also from clinics
So I don’t expect it on the one hand, but in the normal case it is already present..
No WiFi in an accommodation is an exclusion criterion for me.
I’m on vacation. I don’t need Wi-Fi.
It’s now.
Every Pommesbude has free w-lan today. Don’t eat anything anymore
Well, so I have already had some experience as an Austrian (in Austria) where the free W-LAN is still not a matter of course, I was in a rehab facility (for 6 weeks) and they have, however, required 20 euros of use for W-LAN (although for the entire stay).
And then I stayed at a hotel in the course of a family seminar, where there was W-LAN in the aula, but not in the room.
There is still no WLAN connection in some of the ÖBB (Austrian federal railways).
So you can see that there are still facilities in practice, places where the free W-LAN is not yet a matter of course or practically exists and where there is certainly still a need for repeating.
were you in Germany? There often companies have no adequate connection, I don't want to talk about schools. LTE is more of luck. Phoneing (without interruptions) via mobile phone actually works ned when you move on in the train or car.
Of course I was already in Germany.
Personally, I cannot remember that at least in those places where I was in Germany, there were problems with W-LAN.
Are the W-LAN connections in Germany generally so bad?
I’ve always had it since I expect that I will continue.
