Supermarkets, digital press signs: The prices per kilogram are extremely low. Is it still legal?

More and more often I see price tags on the shelf that are not made of paper/cardboard.

And I notice that the price per kilogram is printed in almost illegible small letters. It's completely invisible on the lower shelves; I have to kneel down.

The price per kg is crucial for me because the smaller the quantity, the higher the price and the more packaging waste.

What does the law say about the legibility of price tags?

Price data regulation

I found that. Here is also something to readability.

It is not regulated by law – although there was a draft DIN standard (DIN 30605), which was not implemented

On the other hand, you should be able to count as much head to sort it yourself in.
