Succulent white after sun?
Hello everyone,
The day before yesterday, I put my succulents outside and watered them a bit (for the first time in a long time). Before that, they looked completely normal.
I didn't have an eye on them yesterday and when I looked today they looked like they did in the pictures, i.e. from the trunk onwards they turned white, the larger ones more so than the smaller ones, two small ones are slightly brownish.
Did they get too much sun?
I wouldn't have thought that something like this could happen so quickly since it has only happened to me so far that they had too much water and they are actually plants that are more common in deserts or drier places.
Could it be the soil? Unfortunately, I didn't have any cactus soil and wanted to get some soon, but I don't have the opportunity right now.
I couldn't find an answer on the internet either, so I'm hoping someone here might know something about it, as I'd really like to save it if possible…
That could actually be some sort of sunburn. My tomato plants have something similar and in this case you should immediately get the plant out of the sun and leave it in the shade for the next time. Here are pictures similar to them. Or if you are looking for Sukkulente /Sonnenbrand:

I’m not sure if you fertilize succulents, but that’s also recommended there so that the plants can recover and draw strength from the fertilizer, as this contains many nutrients.
Thank you. I brought her in directly, and I’m gonna leave her in here and see if something’s happening.
I had forgotten to mention that the leaves have become partly very thin and feel more muddy at the bottom. Is water good in such a case or in a sunburn? I’m not sure because it was poured before 2 days and would probably leave it like that without even more water.
So water is not wrong, but not excessive that they are in the water. Do they have a run downstairs? If I didn’t, maybe I’d knock them around as soon as you got the new earth you wanted to get as described above (: But would they all pour a little to protect from drying out. By the way, it also helps to put some straw on the ground so that they do not dry out too quickly.
And yes, all have one under and overpot
Ahh good to know (: then thank you for your help! Let’s see if I can now hopefully save them (:
I feel that the plant is right and that in the blue pot, in the picture, have suffered most by excessive insonation. Be careful with everyone, whether the blaetters are soft.
Take all plants directly from the bright sun to avoid further shades
Okay thank you and yes lower, so where they have become discolored they are soft and above quite thin but stable
Grrne. I’m looking forward to giving you the thumbs and how the plants develop
