Suitcase or not?
Hello everyone, I will be flying on vacation soon.
I booked my flight and now I don't understand one thing.
I can't seem to see how many kilograms of baggage allowance I have? Am I even allowed to bring luggage? I don't quite understand.
Thanks for your helpful answers. Regards
varies from airline to airline. Information is available on the website of the respective airline. For low budget carriers (e.g. Ryan, Wizz Air etc.), only one piece of Carry-on Luggage (hand luggage) is usually free of charge.
You can only take hand luggage. If you want to give up larger items of luggage, you need to book this extra.
How big and heavy the hand luggage can be, you can read in the baggage regulations of the airline. And yes, this is controlled and if your hand baggage is too big or too heavy, you pay either a fat extra charge or it stays at the airport.
Also note that the hand baggage has to go through the security check. There are quite strict regulations, which is allowed (liquids, ” dangerous objects” etc.). This is independent of the airline.
Right, you got 0 kg on the baggage, just hand luggage. You have to see how much this can weigh. If you want to take a suitcase, you have to pay extra. This is very expensive, but so money is made on cheap flights. You should book the suitcase online if you do it at the airport, it will be much more expensive.
Correct, free is 0.0 kg for baggage. However, it also says that you can buy additional weight.
At the hand luggage you have to read the information, even that will have limits.
Cheapest: buy trench coat, sew inner pockets and do everything in there.
