Search function on Whatsapp "broken"?
Whapp has a feature that lets you search for keywords in a chat, and it no longer works for me.
It's not that I type something into the search bar and there are no results, but rather that the search bar no longer appears at all.
If I click on "search" I am immediately pushed back into the chat 🤷♀️
I haven't been able to find anything about it on the internet. It tells me how to access the search function, but not what to do if the search bar is completely unavailable or has "disappeared".
Does anyone have any idea how I can get this working again?

The support for WhatsApp for iPhone 5 has already expired in 2022. All recent updates can therefore cause errors in the presentation and app. Your problem with the search function should be part of it. No one can solve this, you simply need a newer device or live with the problem.
