I am a fan of quiet and simple PCs.

On the subject of Silent there are two ways: The simplest would be, of course, a sound-insulated housing that suppresses noise. Sound insulation often means that the housing has only a few openings through which sound can penetrate – or air. Therefore, it is a two-edged sword – the housing is too very sealed and it is not counteracted, little air comes into the housing, the hardware becomes warmer and possibly the fans have to rotate even higher (and louder).

The second way is to make sure that the noise does not arise first. With high-quality coolers and fans and an optimized housing, a PC can also be quietly cooled. I think this is the better way.

Now that I can recommend both housing and cooler, I will of course try to recommend something here that makes a quiet cooling possible. The only thing I don’t have in my hand is the graphics card. There are different cooler models that can be different loud.

Therefore my recommendations, based on the fact that the graphics card is not excessively loud:

Fractal Design Focus 2

Fractal Design Pop Air

The supplied fans of Fractal Design are all right and sufficient. If they were kind of too loud to you, you could exchange them with better fans, e.g.

Arctic BioniX P120

Or if you really want so-good-and-unaudible fans:

be quiet! Silent Wings 4

Both housings need 3 of them each.

But as I said, you could just use the supplied ones and then look on. In the case of the housings, the fans should not have to turn up so high that they can be heard. Of course, it is important to configure the fan control correctly (which is no problem with such a high-end board as yours).

If we actually need a housing that is more or less soundproof, I could recommend these candidates:

Fractal Design Pop Silent

be quiet! Pure Base 500

And, that’s a bit above the budget, but in my opinion, a very nice, simple case:

Fractal Design Define 7 Compact

(I recently built a PC for a friend in this case. Just when you have it, it looks very noble and worthy.)

Since these housings have a limited air inlet, I would definitely recommend installing the above-mentioned fans.

My recommendations for coolers:

Arctic i35 – Price performance very good, is sufficient for quiet cooling with normal use. Under full load, he could be easily audible.

be quiet! Pure Rock 2 – Comparable with the Arctic, maybe a little quieter

DeepCool AG620 – If you prefer to fully load the CPU more often, this cooler would be quieter in these situations.

And if you want a cooler that is almost inaudible in all situations of life:

Noctua NH-U14S – Very good, very quiet, and very expensive.

the 1080ti needs a lot of fresh air to not turn extremely high, which would be noisy anyway, no matter in which case. therefore I would not overdo with sound insulation and take sun meshcase https://hardwarerat.de/hardware/gehaeuse/atx/1712/fractal-design-pop-air-black-solid-fd-c-poa1a-01?c=12

fractal builds very quiet fan that can withstand with good ventilators and the black side part is quieter than glass

network parts are difficult thema, since nvidia has introduced these stupid new connections without any sense. Either you take any normal, or if you want the new plugs in, this is what you want. http://geizhals.de/be-quiet-straight-power-12-750w-atx-3-0-bn336-a2966402.html?hloc=at&hloc=de&hloc=eu&hloc=pl&hloc=uk

The case has fans, how about the Fractal North Charcoal or the DeepCool CH510.
