Hello, the Uhlenhorst Studio was opened only between 1959 and 1962, as there are different details. The “GEGR 1894” refers to the porcelain painting and trade L.J. Schulz. They had founded the workshop at the time. I don’t know if there was a family connection between the two companies.
In the literature, the Uhlenhorst Studio is also “only” as a porcelain painting. I could not find any indication that porcelain has ever been produced in the premises there.
According to “North Data”, the Uhlenhorst Studio was unsubscribed in the commercial register on 04.07.2014.
By the way, you will find an ancient website from the Uhlenhorst Studio in the web archive, even there are no indications of porcelain production.

Dr. Merkle Atelier. No reliable data can be verified. The brand is probably there since 1993. This was a glass and ceramic goods trade and wholesale trade. So it’s just a trade mark.

According to “North Data”, the Uhlenhorst Studio was unsubscribed in the commercial register on 04.07.2014. North Data refers to the data of public registers. The websites of both companies are offline and you can find nothing more of them.
Under the former address of the Uhlenhorst Studio, Hamburg, At the Neue Münze 6, there is also no more production.
This is exactly the same with the address of the former headquarters of Dr. Merkle GmbH.
