Meal!

Your stereo system has an AUX (CINCH) input. You can plug in external devices to let the audio signal play through the system.

Otherwise, the system has the classic “terminal”-clamp outputs for the pair of speakers.

If the IMpedance fits or is equal to or higher, you can plug the SUB to the output of the system by cable.

You can also combine the existing speakers with the sub. Parallel, in series or a combination.

Since the SUB also has 3 ohms, you could put this right or left.

Together with a loudspeaker (left or right) only in series, since a parallel connection (left or right loudspeaker + Sub) would become low-resistance.

So in a row, so it’s about 6 ohms.

Series/Series: Rges = R1 + R2 etc.

Parallel: 1/R12… = 1/R1 + 1/R2 etc.

Hey, you think it’s possible if the subwoofer has a higher impedance than the system. What exactly happens if they are under it or why is it more unproblematic at higher?

Unfortunately, this will not work as the subwoofer requires a relatively strong output (active amplifier output) and this is completely missing here.
