Subscription for students without a semester ticket?

I will soon be studying at a distance learning university. Unfortunately, I won't be getting a semester ticket, but I will get a student ID card.

Do you know of any subscriptions or something that aren't so expensive and where you can travel all over Germany, like an annual subscription or something where you pay monthly.

You will hardly be able to pay an annual subscription to the train, the BahnCard 100 costs over €5,000. but for your city you can probably get a ticket for trainees and students.
