Submit a complaint as a trainee?

Hey, I have the following problem. My boyfriend just finished his first year of apprenticeship as a painter, and we've noticed that his boss is acting quite unfairly. I've looked it up online, but there's nothing about his case where I can report something.

It's more of a racist approach, since he's from Bulgaria, just like me. For example, my boyfriend has needed new work pants for six months, but his boss pretends he hasn't heard anything and only orders them when my boyfriend is on vacation.

He also constantly sends him on assembly lines and cancels vacation days for no reason. What I found absolutely speechless was that the boss was in America for three weeks, and because of that, my boyfriend obviously couldn't work alone. And since school wasn't in session at the time, he was forced to stay home for three weeks. All well and good until my boyfriend wanted to take a vacation in February, but the boss said there were no more vacation days available.

Yes, the boss has the task of teaching the trainee something, but how is that supposed to work if the boss works worse than the trainee?

It is a fact that a painter will not achieve anything by working quickly, but the boss complains all the time that he is too slow, even though he is actually doing his work relatively well.

Going on an assembly at 1 a.m. isn't exactly normal, I think.

And night shift?

A boss is obligated to pay for public transport, but he doesn't. "I'll think about it."

He usually has to pay for his work clothes himself.

And he's also been insulted. I don't know what else to say; there have been far too many incidents for me to remember them all. As I said, a lot of it has to do with discrimination and racism.

He has tried to change companies several times, but since the companies often call the boss and the boss only says bad things in these cases, he is not accepted.

It should also be noted that he is an apprentice and not a regular employee.

If anyone can help, or knows where to report something like this or get help, please let me know. I'm happy about any answer.

Zuständig für Probleme im Ausbildungsverhältnis ist die Industrie- und Handelskammer. Dort wird das Ausbildungsverhältnis auch angemeldet und von dort kommen auch die Einladungen zur Zwischenprüfung und Abschlussprüfung. Dein Freund sollte sich dort mit den Mitarbeitern in Verbindung setzen und seinen Fall vortragen. Die werden auf jeden Fall vermitteln.

Es kann auch sein, dass dein Kumpel in der Ausbildung zu oft Fehler gemacht hat, sodass er einfach die Schnauze voll hat und dementsprechend bestraft wird, ohne vorher den Mund aufzumachen.

Du irrst. Und zwar gewaltig.

Betriebsurlaub ist Betriebsurlaub, und keine geklauten Tage.

Der Arbeitgeber ist auch nicht verpflichtet, öffis zu fahren.

Natürlich muss man als Maler schnell arbeiten, sind Festpreise, da bringst nix, wenn der Kollege mit dem Pinsel an der Wand festtrocknet.

Klar fährt man nachts um 1 auf Montage. Mann muss ja um 7 auf der Baustelle sein. Über Auslöse beschwert sich dein Freund bestimmt nicht.

Aber Hauptsache, die Rassismus -keule auspacken

dann sollte dein Freund mal bei der zuständigen Handwerkskammer / Innung vorsprechen und das dort schildern
