Studying nanotechnology?
So, I would like to study nanotechnology, but I'm wondering what opportunities there are to work in this field in Germany after I graduate.
Does anyone have any ideas?

So, I studied materials physics with a focus on nanotechnology and ultimately gained a foothold in the microchip industry (I deliberately don't write "the semiconductor industry" because chips don't necessarily have to be made of semiconductors. I also work a lot with piezo materials).

In the chemical industry, physics, electronics and semiconductor technology, and mechanical engineering. Another area of activity is in environmental agencies, where environmental issues are assessed.
