In Bavarian universities of applied sciences, the mathematics skills of the technical upper secondary school are generally assumed for WI (one calculates industrial engineering for the technical training direction). The starting point is the technology and not the economy!
Math bases must be present. All right, up to 9th grade. All else is taught in studies. Knowledge from the upper level is advantageous, but not necessary.
The knowledge you may need as a W engineer will be given to you in your studies. Of course you can’t start from the very beginning.
