Studying at TU Graz in the summer semester?

Hello, I would like to start studying, so I wanted to ask if there are any disadvantages if I start studying at TU Graz in the summer semester.

Because I guess the semesters are held in the rhythm 2,1,4,3,6,5, right?

and is that a problem or is the substance independent.

Although I didn't study at the TU, how well it works to start in the summer semester depends more on the course of study than on the university.

This requires a close look at the curriculum. You can find this online when searching for your desired degree program. The primary question is: What prerequisites are there for the program? These include, on the one hand, the STEOPS and, on the other hand, other courses you'll need to attend further courses.

Then there's the problem that not all courses are usually offered in both the winter and summer semesters. Therefore, you may need an extra semester for this reason. It's best to contact the relevant student representative office with your specific questions.

Then you can decide whether you want to start in the summer semester or in the winter semester and pursue something else until then.

This TU certainly also has a general student advisory service or a subject-specific student advisory service where you can find out whether the full curriculum of the first semester is also offered in the summer semester.

Correct. However, it does state which courses are prerequisites for others. You can ask the student representatives for further information. Alternatively, students can look it up online.
